Founded in 1924, the San Antonio Conservation Society is one of the oldest and most active community preservation groups in the United States. Beginning with efforts to prevent historic structures from being razed & to preserve such unique features as the San Antonio River Bend and the Spanish Colonial missions, the society has been responsible for saving most of the historic attractions which now make San Antonio one of the top toursit destinations in Texas.
The award-winning San Antonio Street Dance and Drum is a contemporary, multi-cultural, percussion and dance troupe that is in its 11th year performing in San Antonio. SA Street Dance is ideal for those who enjoy high-energy routines and dancing to the rhythm of many styles of percussion. It's great for those dance team individuals who have no place to dance after high-school or college students who don't have time to join the college dance team. Many of our alumni have gone on to professional/semi-professional sports entertainment cheer/dance squads or have gone on to head their own performance group. It's great experience, a great stress-reliever, and a great way to say in shape. Our studio offers you great networking in the entertainment field.
